According to Complex, rapper Offset hit the stage with Ellen to debrief about his cheating hick-up, being a father and giving back to the community.
The rapper also expressed his love for his wife, Cardi B. In December 2018, the couple put on a true Hip-Hop Opera via Instagram, as Cardi eluded to Offset’s infidelity. Even though he had continuously made an effort to apologize publicly, fans were fed up with him.
“I love my wife so it’s serious, not a game to me,” Offset said about his marriage to Cardi B, specifically addressing his public reconciliation efforts, which were criticized by some fans. “We have schedules and we have shows and I just felt like, if I gave a break between time, I can’t give that break between time.”

He said the public apology was all about showing his wife vulnerability. “It’s just me being vulnerable, I guess, and it kinda bit me with the response of the people,” he said. “But that’s why our men don’t be trying to be vulnerable. Because when you do it, it’s like, ah, there’s something wrong with it either way.”
The North Atlanta native who recently released his first solo project, Father of 4, explained to Ellen, that the project was about fathers. He wanted to get the message across that it’s “cool to make mistakes” and challenged fathers who are estranged from their children to try and establish a relationship no matter how long it’s been.
This topic hits close to home for offset because, “I have a father that I don’t know of,” Offset said. “He still runs away from it. I don’t get it. I’ve invited him on interviews and all types of TV just to get in contact and he’s still dodging.”

Offset ended his interview with Ellen, by giving her a stack of 100 dollar bills and with the help of his son, provided Ellen with a check of $25,000 for “The Ellen Fund”. Offset’s support comes from his love of the work Ellen’s Fund does in Africa.
