Lauren London breaks silence after Nipsey Hussle death: ‘I am completely lost’

The actress shares a 2-year-old son with the slain rapper.


 

Lauren London has broken her silence following the death of her partner, Nipsey Hussle. 

She shared some sweet snapshots and a heartbreaking Instagram post on Tuesday evening.

“I am completely lost. I’ve lost my best friend. My sanctuary. My protector. My soul….I’m lost without you. We are lost without you babe. I have no words.”

Nipsey Hussle, a beloved, LA-based rapper and community activist was gunned down outside of his store on Crenshaw & Slauson on Sunday evening. Authorities confirm he was shot in the head and torso. Born, Ermias Asghedom, 33, is survived by his two children: Emani Asghedom (from a previous relationship), Kross Asghedom who he shared with long-time partner Lauren London.

The couple met for the first time, in person, on Crenshaw and Slauson at his store and have been dating since 2013. London gave birth to their son in 2016.

The two loved each other deeply and also made sacrifices for their relationship. During an interview with GQ, London shared how she auditioned for the role of Faith Evans in the hit film, Notorious, and then she got pregnant.

It was a tough decision for the actress. She revealed she questioned whether she should choose herself or her soul.

The gorgeous photos from their recent GQ shoot broke the internet upon their release. Now, they stand as a forever tribute to the love and bond forever shared by the two.

“Our grandchildren will frame this,” London wrote in a caption underneath one of the pictures taken in their LA neighborhood.
