The 2019 Soul Train Awards went down in Las Vegas over the weekend and a few of our favorite stars nabbed top honors at the annual event hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell.

Chris Brown won in three categories for his hit “No Guidance” featuring Drake including Song of the Year and best Collaboration.

Lizzo‘s debut album Cuz I Love You earned her Album/ Mixtape of the Year and she snagged a win for Video of the Year for “Juice.”

Best New Artist went to Summer Walker and H.E.R. won Best R&B Soul/ female artist.

Another exciting moment came when Beyonce was honored with the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award for “Brown Skin Girl,” the track that featured Saint Jhn, WizKid, and Blue Ivy Carter. This marks Blue Ivy’s first-ever music award win and something tells us this may not be her last.
