When you gotta go, you gotta go.

A Los Angeles Uber driver who simply needed to go, rang in the new year by dropping “a deuce” in the bathroom of superstar couple Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, the actress says.

Union, 47, shared the hilarious news on Twitter:

But bathroom breaks are fairly rare for rideshare industry workers and many have to find facilities where they can, even if it’s in a celebrity’s house.

One Twitter user responded, “As someone who [used] to drive for Uber in LA I appreciate you letting him use your bathroom. After a certain time finding places that are open and have a public restaurant that you can use is really hard. So thanks for being so nice to your driver.”

Another fan questioned the couple’s decision to let a stranger into their home, writing, “This is how psychological thrillers start lol!”

Union ended 2019 with an empowering message for women following her headline-making exit from America’s Got Talent.

TheGrio previously reported, Union was taken off NBC’s hit competition show after she called out the racial insensitivity going on behind-the-scene. Last month, while sitting on a panel titled: “The Power of Inclusivity and the Women Leading The Charge,” she talked about her brave decision to be vocal in her career.

“How many checks do I need,” Union rhetorically asked the crowd in New York. “This financial freedom, they’re shackles, masquerading as zeros in my bank account.”

She also advised the Black people in attendance: “Don’t be the happy negro that does the bidding of the status quo because you’re afraid. It’s terrifying. There’s a solid chance you’ll lose your job… I speak from experience.”

The Being Mary Jane star is looking forward to a fresh start in the new decade.

“2019 brought so many lessons, so many blessings,” she reflected in an Instagram post. “There were blessings that were disguised as failures or humiliation and I am most grateful for those.”
