The September issue of InStyle magazine will feature the multi-talented Zendaya and multiple Black fashion designers on its cover.

The actress and singer is taking full advantage of the spotlight to show off wardrobe stitched exclusively by Black creators.

The HBOEuphoria” star is featured in the fashion issue of the publication donning a red asymmetrical gown by Aliette, a label from Jason Rembert. On the subscriber cover, she’s wearing a Hanifa color-blocked pleated mini-dress.

Inside the issue, Zendaya can be seen in outfits and accessories by Black designers, including a full-skirted fuchsia plaid gown from Christopher John Rogers and graphic printed dress-and-boots combo from designed by Pyer.

“There are also so many Black designers people don’t know about, so having an opportunity where they can be in InStyle and get the love they deserve is really special,” Zendaya said in a Q&A for the publication.

Zendaya made sure the designers weren’t the only Black creatives involved in the shoot.

She chose a crew of Black make-up artists and photographers for the cover shoot, as well. They included photographers Donté Maurice and Ahmad Barber, along with stylist Law Roach, who has styled for the likes of Ariana Grande and Kerry Washington.

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors interviewed Zendaya for the InStyle cover story.

“I’ve always had a black stylist and black hair and makeup artists. But we were able to work with two talented young black photographers on this shoot too,” the 23-year-old star said.

“We’re actually around the same age, so it was cool to be with my peers and have an opportunity to show what we can do.”

Roach later thanked InStyle magazine and its editor-in-chief, Laura Brown, in an Instagram post.

“You allowed me a BLACK stylist to creative direct an editorial with my beautiful BLACK muse @zendaya and feature clothing from all BLACK designers, shoes from all BLACK shoe designers, jewels from all BLACK jewelry designers, we feature BLACK art from BLACK artists,” Roach wrote in his post.

The fashion issue of InStyle will hit newsstands on Aug. 21. It will also be available for digital download on Amazon the same day.

Zendaya was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in “Euphoria,” according to Vanity Fair.

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards will air on September 20 on ABC.
