R&B singer Usher has announced a Las Vegas residency to begin in the summer of 2021
Usher has announced a headlining Las Vegas residency that will kick off in July 2021.

Performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace ,the R&B titan will hold a dozen shows. According to Rolling Stone, the singer is hopeful about taking the stage following a tumultuous 2020 that has proven to be problematic for performing artists.
“2020 has been extremely complicated — we’ve suppressed this anxiety and energy to do anything social,” Usher said to the outlet. “So I’m really excited to be able to know that I’m in the process of putting together a show for Las Vegas.”
“I’ll be kicking off my Vegas residency July 2021,” the R&B star wrote in an Instagram announcement.

The “Confessions” singer tells Rolling Stone that a Las Vegas residency has been on his list of goals since his early-career days.
“Since I was 21 years old, I’ve really anticipated getting to go to Vegas and play the shows the way that they did in the early days,” he said.
“The vibe of Las Vegas is everything on steroids — the best clubs, the best shows, the best food, all of it,” he continued. “To finally be able to get this opportunity, to share myself and also to share my history with my audience, I can’t wait for it.”
Tickets to see the 41-year-old singer on the Caesar’s Palace stage go on sale Thursday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m. PT with pre-sale tickets available beginning Monday, September 7, at 10:00 a.m. PT until Wednesday, September 9.
The price range begins at $59 for general admission, with VIP and Meet and Greet options available at a higher cost. According to Rolling Stone, Usher, Live Nation Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment are donating $1 of every ticket purchased to Usher’s New Look, Inc., a non-profit organization founded by the singer in 1999, dedicated to providing resources for youth in need.
“Every time that I’ve done anything, I always try my hardest to intertwine for-profit and for-purpose at the same time, and this is an opportunity for me to do,” Usher said to Rolling Stone.
The shows are scheduled to take place on twelve dates from July 2021 to January 2022.
