Usher welcomes daughter with girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea
Usher welcomed a new bundle of joy, Sovereign Bo Raymond
Usher is once again a father.
The singer, born Usher Raymond IV, debuted his newborn daughter on Instagram, Sovereign Bo Raymond. The image featured a tiny hand grasping his finger.
“We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. “Isn’t She lovely” by Stevie Wonder on repeat,” he captioned the post on Wednesday.
Usher’s latest child is with his girlfriend, VP of A&R, Epic Records, Jenn Goicoechea, 36. The couple reportedly began dating in 2019 when they were spotted at Hollywood Bowl according to US Weekly. This is Goicoechea’s first child and Usher’s third.
A source close to the couple told the outlet in August when they were spotted in Los Angeles with a baby bump on full display, “They are thrilled and very excited.”
The Grammy award-winning artist, 41, has two sons, Naviyd Ely and Usher V, with his first wife, Tameka Foster. The former couple divorced in 2009.
He quietly divorced his second wife, Grace Miguel, in 2018. According to The Blast, Usher used the initials of U.R. IV and G.R. when he filed the petition.
But now Usher has found love again with Goicoechea. According to US Weekly, the couple has been inseparable since they started dating last year. The publication said their first date was at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and they were very handsy with each other on the dance floor. They were also spotted together at Diddy’s 50th birthday party late last year.
It appears as if Usher’s life is on an upward spiral. Most recently he announced via Instagram his Las Vegas residency.
“I’ll be kicking off my Vegas residency July 2021 at @caesarspalace Colosseum! Tickets go on sale Thursday 9/10 at 10 AM PT, but you can get yours starting Monday if you text me at (404) 737-1821.
