NeNe Leakes moved to tears over Bravo exit: ‘I want fair treatment’
Leakes' comment came in response to Tamron Hall addressing the sadness she displayed during her show's commercial break.
NeNe Leakes, the former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, opened up to talk show host Tamron Hall this week in an interview set to air today.
In a preview clip sent out by The Tamron Hall Show, NeNe Leakes was moved to tears.
“I deserve fair treatment. I haven’t done anything that no one else has done there, or haven’t done even worse … I don’t deserve this treatment. I’m as confused as you are,” she said.
The comment came in response to Hall addressing the unease and sadness she displayed. “NeNe, you didn’t know I could see you in the commercial break,” Hall told Leakes. “You’ve been crying this entire break.”
“You said you want to meet potentially with the folks over at Bravo behind the scenes if you think that something can be worked out,” Hall continues. “These allegations, again, very serious. Discrimination, bullying.”
“I can’t tell you everything that I want from them,” Leakes says, “but I can tell you that I want fair treatment.”

The 52-year-old reality star went on a Twitter rant earlier this week, lashing out at Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen and talk show helmer Wendy Williams, who was his guest as they discussed Leakes’ departure from the popular reality TV franchise.
“I will ALWAYS eat and eat good! Believe that. I have ALWAYS believed in multiple streams of income so the leakes are good you ole cocaine head and you ole racist. No one knew you until YOU knew me. Remember I’m ICON. Don’t forget,” she wrote.

Even before her tweetstorm, Leakes had alleged that there was a double standard at Bravo between the way Black and White reality-show cast members are treated. She reiterated those accusations on Sunday night in her tweets and on Hall’s show.
She has alleged that white Bravo stars, including fellow RHOA diva Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Lisa Vanderpump of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, also engaged in fights and scandalous behavior, but both still earned their own spin-off shows.
Asked by Hall if she wanted to return to the show at this point, Leakes replied, “No, I do not.”
