Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend have gone through unimaginable pain these last few weeks. But now the grieving mother has taken a step to always keep the memory of her late son Jack with her.

On Halloween, during a self-proclaimed “date night” with Legend, the 34-year-old model shared her tribute to her son, who she lost 20 weeks into her pregnancy. In the photograph that shows the couple holding hands, Teigen can be seen sporting a fresh new tattoo on her wrist with Jack’s name written in cursive script.

According to PEOPLE, “The inking is located just above another tattoo Chrissy got in honor of her family, which reads “John – Luna – Miles,” a nod to her husband and their daughter Luna Simone, 4, and son Miles Theodore, 2. Legend, 41, has a matching tattoo featuring the names, “Chrissy – Luna – Miles.”

Winter Stone, a Los Angeles-based artist, did all of three of the tattoos.

As we previously reported, last week in an essay published this week on Medium, Teigen – who had been diagnosed with partial placenta abruption – opened up about her devastating experience, writing, “Late one night, I was told it would be time to let go in the morning. I cried a little at first, then went into full blown convulsions of snot and tears, my breath not able to catch up with my own incredibly deep sadness.”

She then thanked friends, colleagues, and fans for showering her with love and support.

“Notes have flooded in and have each been read with our own teary eyes,. Social media messages from strangers have consumed my days, most starting with, ‘you probably won’t read this, but…. I can assure you, I did,” she wrote. “I had already come to terms with what would happen: I would have an epidural and be induced to deliver our 20 week old, a boy that would have never survived in my belly (please excuse these simple terms).”

“Even as I write this now, I can feel the pain all over again,” she admitted.
