Tina Knowles-Lawson jokingly explains why she ‘aged 10 years’ on Beyonce tour

The proud mother took to Instagram to share a "stressful" clip of Beyoncé suspended above a crowd while singing "Baby Boy" on tour

Tina Knowles-Lawson continues to win on social media. In a recent post, the mother and grandmother shared why a certain part of Beyoncé’s tour made her “age 10 years.”

With Beyoncé’s career spanning over 20 years, Knowles-Lawson has undoubtedly been to plenty of her daughter’s concerts. Traveling the globe while singing, dancing, and putting on a show, Beyoncé is still one of the riskiest performers in the music industry today, and her mother certainly knows that. In a recent Instagram post, she shared what was going through her mind while watching her daughter flying in the air, suspended over a crowd.

The pop star’s mother shared a video on her Instagram of Beyoncé performing her hit song “Baby Boy” on tour. In the clip, the singer is suspended above the crowd and does about 20 flips in the air while the audience cheers her on. While exciting from the audience’s perspective, from a mother’s, it can be “very stressful,” according to Knowles-Lawson.

She wrote in the caption of the post, “Lord This tour was very stressful I prayed through this segment every night! And aged 10 years on this tour! ?? As my fearless child flipped 20 times hundreds of feet into the air!! ????I was like “can’t you just spin around on the stage”? Do you have to be so extra!!!?????❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Many of Knowles-Lawson’s famous friends and followers took to the comments to react to the jaw-dropping video and her reaction. Vivica A. Fox wrote underneath the post, “SHE’S SO AWESOME! #ROCKSTAR ???,” while Jemele Hill wrote, “listen, I saw her walk on water in Baltimore. Greatest performer of this generation. I said what I said.”
