Rushion McDonald’s 3815 Media, Inc. partners with HBCUGO.TV to broadcast ‘Money Making Conversations’

Each episode of "Money Making Conversations" features a master class with an illustrious graduate of a historically Black college or university.

The company founded by multiple Emmy Award- and NAACP Image Award-winning TV/film/radio producer Rushion McDonald, 3815 Media, Inc., is partnering with HBCUGO.TV to broadcast Money Making Conversations master classes on the streaming network. 

HBCUGO.TV is owned by Entertainment Studios and founded by Byron Allen, who also owns theGrio. The app is a destination for live and streaming entertainment, education, lifestyle content and sports, amplifying the voices of African American youth and the nation’s historically Black college and university communities.

The half-hour episodes of Money Making Conversations, which launched Tuesday, are hosted by McDonald, who will highlight “the success stories of HBCU graduates through interviews with a diverse range of guests who are history makers, industry moguls, CEOs, self-made entrepreneurs, famous personalities, celebrities from the worlds of Hollywood entertainment, music, sports and more,” according to a press release. 

Each show features an illustrious graduate of a historically Black college or university.

The spotlight will shine on a mix of guests such as Will Packer, Stephen A. Smith, Loni Love, Kym Whitley, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Yolanda Adams, Shaun Robinson and many more celebrated HBCU alums in the fields of media and entertainment.

Another Money Making Conversations will air on the free app on Tuesday, April 19th at 3 p.m. EST, with an encore airing at 8 p.m. Two episodes will air each month, and a total of 24 episodes are currently scheduled.

According to the press release, Money Making Conversations “is already syndicated on radio and podcast platforms and is the #1 syndicated weekend show on Black radio.” 

McDonald’s half-hour master classes speaking with HBCU alumni give them room to share their sage advice and detailed maps of their respective journeys to success in the career paths they chose. His conversations deliver vital information directly to students about career planning, motivation, financial literacy and how to lead a balanced life.
