For instance, the BET Awards were on Monday and that brought out a whole bunch of entertainment and notable moments. Chief among them? Well, Jamie Foxx decided to make a whole auditorium of Black people shed tears as he accepted an Icon Award and talked about his health journey and thanked his sister, daughters and everybody who had his back. Shoot, I was at home and shed all of the tears. That was just one of many moments that had people talking the day after.
June also means that Tyler Perry released a new movie, though if we’re being honest, that happens in nearly every month of every year at this point. All jokes aside, during the press run for his latest film “Straw,” Taraji P.
