Texas cop fired for feeding fecal sandwich to homeless person

A Texas police officer has been fired after putting fecal matter between two pieces of bread and feeding the “sandwich” to a homeless person.

“His actions were a betrayal of every value we have in our community, and he is not representative of our great police force,” said Mayor Ivy Taylor.

City Councilman Joe Krier said that the officer was a “bad apple” but added, “it’s our job to get the bad apples out of the barrel as quickly as possible when they do bad things.”

The city council was briefed on Thursday and agreed in a private session to terminate the officer.
