They look like a gathering of the United Nations, but you can just call them the Seitz Senior seven. They are a very international collection of adopted siblings, all living under one roof and all graduating with honors from high school at the same time.

Noah Seitz is from Ethiopia. He and sister Rebekah from Vietnam are graduating from Polk Collegiate High School in Lakeland, Florida.

“It’s exciting,” said Rebekah. “A lot of us we didn’t expect to graduate when we were in our countries because, I don’t know, growing up we just lived each day like it was the next one, and we just didn’t see it coming. ”

Josh and Caleb Seitz from China, along with Hannah and Nathaniel from Ethiopia all graduated this week from Victory Christian Academy. Jan and Garry Seitz, a quiet couple in their 60’s, are their surprisingly calm parents.

“I’d always, I don’t know, it’s just always been on my heart since I was a little girl that I thought adopting would be neat,” said Jan Seitz.

The seven seniors are among 18 children, four biological and fourteen adopted.
