Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Rock musician and National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent attended President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address last week, and although he did not publicly comment on anything the president said that night, the outspoken conservative did express his views in his column for WorldNet Daily.

Nugent, in a column published today, claims that the Democratic party is the root cause of the poor social and economic conditions for African-Americans:

“Barack Obama, the guy who received roughly 93 percent of black American votes, is the clear and present engineer of the destruction of black America… The truth is that the Democratic Party has been the engineer of the destruction of black Americans, and everyone knows it except the very people who need to know it the most – black Americans…

The turbo-destruction will continue for black Americans until they realize that dirty Democrat politicians are their true enemy, not their salvation. Fortunately, some are beginning to embrace this self-evident truth.

The truth will set those black Americans free who want to be free, who want to be the best they can be, who want to leave their grandchildren a better, stronger America.”

While Nugent hails the African-American community as “rich and vibrant,” he believes that Democrats are responsible for the black community’s low high-school graduation rate, the increasing unemployment rate, the rise of single-family households,  and the sharp increase of “black-on-black crime.”

Nugent also writes that he celebrates Black History Month every day because “[his] very black-inspired musical dreams could not have been successful were it not for black Americans.” He concludes that his upcoming 2013 tour will be titled, “Ted Nugent Black Power 2013.”

A staunch supporter of the Second Amendment, Nugent has been vocal in his opposition against President Obama’s proposals on gun-control that was spurred in light of the Newtown Elementary School tragedy.

Just last month, Nugent called for a revolt against the “evil, dangerous Obama” and said that gun regulations will not prevent “criminal monsters” from carrying out other attacks according to an interview on Guns.com.
