theGRIO REPORT - New York City Police officers raided a Brooklyn home and reportedly dragged a half-naked mother from her apartment after responding to a domestic disturbance call in Brownsville, New York.

New York police officers raided a Brooklyn home and reportedly dragged a half-naked mother from her apartment after responding to a domestic disturbance call in Brownsville, New York.

Officers are currently under investigation as video footage shows cops attempting to subdue 48-year-old Denise Stewart in the hallway of her building.

According to the New York Daily News, cops dragged Stewart from her home while she wore nothing but a towel and underwear, eventually leaving her topless during the arrest.

The Daily News reports that police said they arrived at the building to respond to a domestic violence call but did not have an apartment number. Instead, they knocked on Stewart’s door upon their arrival after hearing loud voices coming from her apartment.

Police reportedly said that Stewart answered the door but told the officers they had the wrong address and tried to dismiss them.

Instead, a chaotic scene ensued as officers attempted to arrest Stewart after they saw her young daughter with “visible injuries” to her face.

The arrest was captured on the camera of a nearby witness who is heard yelling at the officers for using such force.

Stewart, who has asthma, eventually faints and falls to the floor as neighbors continue to shout at the officers.

Among the charges Stewart was given were assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, acting in a manner injurious to a child and criminal possession of a weapon, reports the Daily News.

The incident is reportedly under investigation.
