Will Michelle Obama run for president? Pres. Obama finally responds
President Barack Obama was making the rounds going to town halls around the country following his State of the Union address earlier this week when he was asked whether or not his wife, Michelle, was considering running for his third term.
At McKinley High School, a man who said he was the father of a secret service agent asked, “Since you can’t run for another term, is there any way we as a group can talk the First Lady into it?”
The crowd laughed as Obama emphatically rejected the idea.
“Three things are certain in life,” he said. “Death, taxes, and the First Lady is not running for president.”
