Earlier this week, Nick Cannon made some comments about Planned Parenthood that raised some eyebrows, and on Friday, he doubled down on them, claiming that Planned Parenthood is responsible for the “real genocide.”

“It’s modern day eugenics,” he said to Splash News Online. He went on to say that Planned Parenthood engages in “population control.”

While giving an interview last week with “The Breakfast Club,” Cannon talked about both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump while characterizing Clinton as “sneaking and cheating.”

“Think about all the stuff they did with Planned Parenthood and all that type of stuff. That type of stuff is to take our community — and forget gentrification, it’s real genocide, and it’s been like that for years,” he said during the interview.

“This system is not built for us. This is not our land. I appreciate it. I love it, wouldn’t want to live nowhere else. But this wasn’t designed for our people,” Cannon, 36, went on.

Back in 2005, he released a song titled “Can I Live?” where he discussed how his mother almost had an abortion when she found out she was pregnant with him. At the time, he said he wasn’t pro-life or particularly pro-choice.

“I’m just thanking my mom for being strong,” he said.

“I’m just happy to be here.”

He is currently expecting a new child with his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell and is already a father to 5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
