Man who wants to ‘protect Betty White from 2016’ sets up GoFundMe page

A man has started a GoFundMe page to protect 94-year-old Betty White from what is left of 2016.

A man has started a GoFundMe page to protect 94-year-old Betty White from what is left of 2016.

The account was set up on Tuesday by Demetrios Hrysikos, and it asks donors to, “Help 2016 catch these hands if it goes anywhere near Betty White! If she’s okay with it I will fly to where ever Betty White is and keep her safe till Jan. 1, 2017.”

If Betty White is not open to being personally guarded, Hrysikos has said he will donate the money to Spartanburg Little Theater, a local youth theater company.

He is looking to raise at least $2000.

Fans have been flocking to Twitter recently and sharing their concern for White’s well being. This has been a brutal year for celebrity deaths, and no one wants to see us lose another one.
