A man who looks just like Sisqó has been all over New York Fashion Week, sitting front raw, taking pictures, and attending shows that include Kanye West’s presentation, among others.

The fake Sisqó, complete with bleached-blonde hair, a black velvet Versace suit, chunky jewelry and sunglasses, even bragged about performing in the Meatpacking District.

His free ride came to a screeching halt, however, when he tried to talk his way onto a private jet that was headed for the Caribbean. He gave his passport details, and at that point, his name was revealed to be Gavin Barnes.

“This guy was 13 when Sisqó’s ‘Thong Song’ came out in 2000,” said one source.

Gavin was later reached by phone by Page Six and denied having conned his way into anything. “I never said I was Sisqó. People thought I as him, and that wasn’t cool,” he said.

As for the real Sisqó, he has been posting comments on Instagram on pictures of the fake Sisqó, saying things like “Datz not me.”

And Sisqó’s manager, Jeff Allen, said, “Management has no idea who this guy is. It’s flattering, I guess. Thanks for bringing it to our attention…. What does his manager look like?”
