SNL nails Sarah Huckabee Sanders in musical spoof
Saturday Day Night Live saw Aidy Bryant playing Sarah Huckabee Sanders channeling her inner Demi Lovato.
In a sketch making fun of the White House Press Secretary fielding questions from reporters asking how she kept maintaining there are no connections between the Trump campaign and Russia, despite indictments, there was a fantasy sequenced played to Lovato’s ‘Confident.’
The song begins with the original lyrics but quickly gets a makeover about halfway through.
“So you say that I’m a puppet, that I must be out of my mind, all your media can stuff it.”
Bryant has been playing Sanders since the previous season of SNL. Just think of her as the new Melissa McCarthy of Press Secretaries.
