Wendy Williams Shades Soon-To-Be Princess Meghan Markle–Again!

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

It’s no secret that royal-to-be, Meghan Markle, had a long-standing career in the entertainment industry before moving across the pond to be closer to her fiancé Prince Harry.

But talk show host Wendy Williams wants everyone to know that before Meghan Markle found her prince charming, the “random princess” (yes, she actually referred to Markle as such), once inquired about employment on The Wendy Williams Show.

“She applied for a job here too, yeah,” the host told guest AnnaLynne McCord, as the two compared Meghan Markle encounters.

This isn’t the first time Williams, 53, publicly shaded the 36-year-old actress. During a December airing of the gossip-y “Hot Topics” segment of her show, Williams went on a diatribe about the newly engaged actress.

“Confidentially speaking, I respect Meghan Markle’s hustle and I respect her game. However, she’s a bit of a wild card. You know, because she goes from being the Deal or No Deal girl. Oh, yes she opened the suitcases for Howie Mandel. Yeah, she was a Deal or No Deal girl. So this is a girl looking for fame, you guys. And you remember the story here at Wendy. She came here to Wendy to find out what she can do here. So she’s been here. She’s been in our building. We have her DNA. And then, she’s the actress from Suits and she’s giving it up, but just keep in mind she’s an actress,” she said.

The daytime divas rant continued her royal rant:

“This girl Meghan, by the way, says she didn’t know anything about the royals and blah, blah, blah, didn’t know anything about Harry and I think that is a lie. I’m happy for her, I respect her game—a Black person is finally in the palace, but I’m keeping an eye on her.

I am! She’s giving up everything, which fine, you give up everything when a prince wants to marry you—except if you’re an opportunist, then you only put up with it for a certain amount of time before you flee.”

The root of the bone Williams has to pick with Markle is unclear. However, with a spring wedding looming, it seems the former actress has moved on from any aspirations in daytime television.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be wed at Windsor Castle at St. George’s Chapel this May.
