Ja Rule and Ashanti show skin at reunion concert
It was almost 20 years ago when Ja Rule and Ashanti topped the charts together and they still look like the seasoned professionals they are. They joined forces once again for a reunion performance in Miami on Thursday.
Ja Rule and Ashanti both showed some major skin while they sang their well-loved classic hits at the James L Knight Center.
Ja Rule wore white track pants and rocked some serious abs with no shirt. He started out with a jacket but that didn’t stay on long. Fans got an eyeful of his toned physique and his tattoos.
Ashanti looked hot herself in her sheer nude bodysuit that was encrusted with sultry pearls and glittering rhinestones.
She topped off the look with thigh-high, shiny gold boots that hugged her legs as she danced next to Ja Rule on stage. She had her long black hair worn in loose waves with big gold hoop earrings.

Rapper Trina also made an appearance at the concert and performed a few of her own hits while wearing a long red shirt that she paired with matching bottoms.
She had on sheer sparkling tights as well as silver knee-high boots that glittered in the stage lighting.
Ja Rule and Ashanti went to the top of the music charts in the early 2000’s with their popular songs Always on Time, What’s Luv and Mesmerize.
Last year Ashanti made news while performing at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii when people began to throw money at her as she performed some of her hits.
She stopped in the middle of her set to point out that she’s not a “f****** stripper” and could they please stop throwing money at her as though she were.

Those showering the stage with money were employees of a local strip club and it seems that the owner was not happy about Ashanti’s outburst.
Dyamin Thomas wrote on Instagram, “WAIT Ashanti ain’t that you in your background video throwing money? And aren’t you giving a lap dance? Lmfao.. she ain’t say nothing to me but you gonna pick on the small white boy lol my Dj? Damn.”
