Even though Tiffany Haddish has rapidly carving out her own spot on Hollywood’s A-List, she isn’t above breaking down barricades to get to her favorite celebs.

Tiffany Haddish had her ultimate fangirl moment at the Oscars on Sunday when she jumped over a velvet rope that stood in the way of her and one of her faves, Meryl Streep.

The Girl’s Trip actress wasted no time when she saw Streep heading down the red carpet and decided to make a bee-line to the legendary actress despite the fact that she was in the middle of her own interview.

Tiffany Haddish had no hesitation about hiking up her Eretrian-inspired gown’s long skirt and getting over that rope to see Streep as she made her way into the Dolby Theater.

That wasn’t the only time Tiffany Haddish had us laughing out loud during Sunday’s big event. When she took the stage during the show in the same white, Alexander McQueen gown she rocked at the July premiere of her hit film, Girl’s Trip and when she hosted Saturday Night Live back in November, we were all reminded just how real our favorite funny lady is.

She made no apologies for wearing the $4,000 dress for a third time and even hit the stage in comfy slippers instead of the high heels she wore to Hollywood’s biggest night.

The Tiffany Haddish and Maya Rudolph hit the stage and chatted about blistered feet and the overwhelming amount of white folks in attendance at the Academy Awards, she woke us from our near slumber from the otherwise snoozy awards show.
