Usher announces split from wife Grace Miguel after two years of marriage

The superstar and his wife, Grace Miguel announced the split in a joint statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday.
“We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
A source told the magazine that the couple has been separated for a couple of months.

Usher and Miguel wed in 2015 after nearly ten years of dating. They first got together after Usher split from his first wife, Tameka Foster, with whom he shares 10-year-old son Usher Raymond V and 9-year-old son Naviyd Ely.
The Voice coach dropped hints of a major life change in a social media post just days before announcing the split.

Soon after, he posted a video showing off a surprising new tattoo on his chin and neck.

The award-winning singer has been plagued by accusations of infidelity and several women have accused the artist of giving them herpes. In November, a $20 million lawsuit against him alleged that Usher failed to warn Laura Helm of his reported herpes infection was dismissed.

The couple had maintained a united front amid numerous allegations against him. And just five months ago, Miguel posted a sweet message to her hubby Usher on Instagram in celebration of their wedding anniversary.
