As the criminal investigation in Bobbi Kristina’s death continues, her former fiancé, Nick Gordon’s actions appear to be mounting up against him.

Last June, Gordon was arrested after his girlfriend, Laura Leal, accused him of punching her and offered pictures of her alleged injuries. Since that time, however, the girlfriend stopped cooperating with investigators and the case was dropped.

On Saturday, Gordon was arrested again, and this time on domestic battery charges.

The second time around

According to People, the arrest report identified Gordon, 29, having told police that he asked Leal to leave after she allegedly ripped his shirt and threw a bottle at him. Gordon said that Leal was “crazy” and claimed that her anger was unprovoked.

However, he did admit that the two had been drinking alcoholic beverages prior to the altercation.

In conversation with Leal, the police documented that she claimed she picked up Gordon from a bar when he allegedly punched her in the face as she was driving. She also claimed that Gordon pulled her hair and stated that “he should make her wreck the vehicle,” as described in the report.

The arresting officer observed a slightly swollen bottom lip with dried blood on Leal and took photos for evidence. The police report says that Leal refused any medical treatment and also refused to press charges against Gordon.

Due to the officer’s suspicions, however, Gordon was arrested for battery domestic violence based on Leal’s visible injuries.

Gordon was released on a $500 bond from Seminole County and is due back in court on April 6.

The first time around

This second display of domestic violence won’t bode well for Gordon who is still involved in the ongoing investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s death.

Last June, the Fulton County district attorney told TMZ that the initial domestic violence case filed by Leal against Gordon would impact the investigation, saying, “It goes without saying that the arrest of Nick Gordon in the Florida domestic violence case will certainly add an additional layer of evidence to the final resolution of this matter.”

Gordon is still a person of interest in the Bobbi Kristina Brown case. Brown was found face-down in her bathtub in a manner similar to that in which her famous mother was found.

A father’s grief

Gordon also recently spoke about his feelings regarding the tragic deaths of Houston and Brown.

Nick Gordon was found “legally responsible” for the death of Bobbi Kristina — and was ordered to pay $36 million — to which Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, is still dissatisfied.

Talking to Rolling Stone, Bobby Brown said that he does not yet feel that there has been justice for his daughter’s death “because he’s still walking around free.” Brown said his idea of justice would be, “if [Nick Gordon] was locked up somewhere where somebody can rape him.”

“That’s just how I feel,” he continued. “He raped me by taking my daughter away.”

Gordon commented on Brown’s constant accusations in his interview with DailyMail.

“You know, I don’t care,” Gordon said about Brown’s accusations. “He’s wrong and he knows he’s wrong. I met the guy. His daughter told him how much she loves me, how much I love her.”

Gordon still asserts his innocence and stated that had he known it were anything he could of done differently, he would have. He has since attempted to stop thinking of the “what ifs” and hopes this interview will help him move on.

‘”The truth is, in my heart, I believe Krissy overdosed on drugs,” Gordon said. He stated that he hopes both mother and daughter are resting in peace. “I’m so happy I got to live with them and give them the little bit of happiness I could towards the end of their journey down here. I’d do it all over again knowing the outcome.”
