Mel B claims Eddie Murphy ‘not interested’ in seeing their 10-year-old daughter

Comedian Eddie Murphy reportedly wants nothing to do with the 10-year-old daughter he had with Mel B.

On the who’s the daddy edition of Mel’s ongoing messy custody battle with her ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte, the two squared off in a Los Angeles courtroom over visitation of Angel, the love-child of Mel B and Murphy that Belafonte says he raised as his own, according to the Daily Mail.

“(She) has called me dad since she started to talk,” said Belafonte.

But Mel B argues that Belafonte is a “bad man”, abusive, and she doesn’t want him anywhere near their three children.

Reports broke last week that Belafonte made her daughters watch gruesome ISIS beheading videos, according to the New York Daily News.

The 42-year-old former Spice Girl, filed court documents March 1 asking to revoke Belafonte’s rights to interact with her three daughters, according to documents obtained by The Blast, because he showed them the shocking videos.

“When I was not present, Stephen thought it was funny or educational (I still do not know) to play videos of ISIS beheading individuals,” Mel B said in the docs she filed.

Mel B has three daughters Phoenix, 19, Angel, 10, and 6-year-old Madison, by three different men. Belafonte is Madison’s father; Phoenix’s father is Jimmy Gulzar and Angel’s father is actor and comedian Eddie Murphy.

“I have never and would never show ISIS videos to our children,” Belafonte claims.

Belafonte has won joint custody of their daughter Madison, but on Wednesday Belafonte’s lawyer, Grace Jamra, went to bat for him trying to prove he’s been the only dad that Angel knows. Jamra said that she has tried to reach Eddie Murphy to discuss Belafonte’s step-parent request but he’s been ignoring their efforts.

Murphy is “not interested,” Jamra told the court.

“Mr. Murphy has had no contact with the child,” Jamra said. And when she tried to serve the comedian with legal papers she claims he eluded that effort too. “Mr. Murphy is avoiding service,” she said.

Dang Eddie! That’s a RAW deal!
