Tisha Campbell-Martin and her estranged husband Duane Martin were ordered by a court to turn over the financial receipts that show how much residual money they received from entertainment and sitcoms since 2016.

According to reports, Duane was acting as the accountant of the couple’s financials but somewhere along the line fell short. The financial shortfall got flagged in the bankruptcy proceedings.

Said Duane: “Prior to our separation, I handled the family finances and business finances by myself,” Duane reportedly said in his declaration. “I recognized then that I was not capable of preparing an accounting by myself.”

The trustee said that $50,000 of Tisha’s residuals were improperly diverted and demanded that they couple be sanctioned.

According to The Blast, the couple gave the trustee a $125,000 payment but there was some confusion as to where the money should be applied. A judge ordered that the money be applied to any outstanding residual payments.

The couple’s money problems led to marital problems and in court docs they admitted that financial issues played a role in their separation.

Tisha said in her bankruptcy declaration that she left it to Duane to properly deliver the residuals to the trustee. She said her lawyer is investigating the situation. The couple are parents to two boys 8-year-old Ezekiel and 16-year-old Xen.

The couple separated in December 2016 and the actress filed for spousal support and physical and legal custody of their boys.

We hope Duane and Tisha work things out for the better.
