Jaden Smith blames the green eyed monster as to why his relationship with Kanye and Drake has changed

Envy is a powerful emotion.

The 19-year-old rapper Jaden Smith may be feeling himself, but says the envy is real when it comes to his musical brilliance in this rap game.

Ever since he started making music, Jaden Smith says a few of the most notable names in rap now are giving him the cold shoulder and won’t let him hang around them anymore. In fact, Smith blames the freeze out on his music finally making waves on the charts and in the industry.

The 19-year-old rapper may be feeling himself, but says the envy is real and called out Drake, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino and Kanye West as three rap heavyweights who have shut him out of their circles, reports Billboard.

“[My relationship with Drake, Kanye, and Donald Glover has] really changed,” he explained. “I always felt like Little Homie before and that allowed me in all of their circles. But now that I’m on the charts next to them, I’m not really Little Homie anymore.”

Smith spoke with Complex about his experiences in the music industry following the debut of his album SYRE, which peaked on the Billboard 200 chart at number 24. He said that he has always been cool with the rap artists, but once his album spiked and hit 100 million streams on Spotify, things changed.

“It’s more like, ‘You can’t hang out with us anymore. We didn’t know you were making an album this whole time. We thought you were just Little Homie giving us free water and shit. You’re not really cool with us anymore,’” he added.

The younger Smith may need a sit down to discuss the ins and outs of the music game with his famous father Will Smith, who is heading back to the studio to drop more hits.

Will Smith is back in the booth and wants the world to know that he and his boo Jada Pinkett Smith are in a good place and no where close to getting a divorce, so basically shut up about it, reports People.

“Stop the divorce rumors and mind your damn business,” Smith sings at the end of a new track, along with a lot of other funny lines about his famous family. The track “To the Clique” was a tease from Smith who is said to be working on new music.

“The real-life Incredibles, last name Smith. Jada, Jaden, Willow, Trey — y’all ain’t f—ing with my clique.”

The Smith Women

Smith’s Incredible clique is also a tight-knit bunch and recently his wife, Jada and daughter Willow along with Jada’s mom who have all launched a Facebook show called Red Table Talk to dish about their lives and parenting ups and down.
