Writer critiques Nicki Minaj in a tweet she wasn’t even tagged in, gets cussed out by rapper in her DMs

Someone really needs to take Nicki Minaj’s phone away – immediately.
Friday evening, Toronto based writer Wanna Thompson logged into Twitter to offer her two cents on the direction she hopes the rapper will take.
“You know how dope it would be if Nicki put out mature content? No silly sh*t, just reflecting on past relationships, being a boss, hardships, etc. She’s touching 40 soon. New direction is needed.”

Even though the feedback was arguably valid, included no real insults, and didn’t even tag Minaj, somehow the Queens native got wind of the tweet and decided to slide into Thompson’s DMs to let out a scathing verbal assault.
“Eat a d*ck you hatin ass h*e. Got the nerve to have a Trini flag on your page. You must not have heard the Pinkprint or “Pills N Potion” “Bed of Lies” “Save Me” My recent feature with Alicia Keys, Tasha Cobbs,” Nicki responded. “Just say you jealous. I’m rich, famous, intelligent, pretty and go! But wait, leave my balls. Tired of you sucking on them.”
Thompson posted screenshots of the tirade Minaj sent to her including one where she wrote, “When ya ugly ass was 24, you were pushing 30? I’m 34. I’m pushing 40? Lol. And what does that have to do with my music?”
The rapper later corrected herself and remembered she is 35, not 34.

Fired from Her Internship and More Backlash
“Nicki Minaj exhibited #Queen behavior when she hopped in my DMs and insulted me numerous times over an innocent music opinion while her fans continue to harass me and DM me death threats,” tweeted Thompson.
She also admitted that she was “literally shaking” because she knew she would receive a lot of backlash, but she wanted to put Minaj on blast because her behavior “is NOT okay.”
The internet was divided over Nicki’s response with some calling her attack unnecessarily ferocious while others maintain that her chart topping success now makes her above reproach.
In addition to the heat Wanna Thompson has gotten from Nicki and her fans, she has also been fired from her internship with Karen Civil.

Nicki Minaj has been in the game for like 10 years. She’s an A list celebrity and rich as fuck. She has performed with BEYONCE.
Why is she running up in ppl dms over some rant that most of our asses clearly never saw? Why did SHE even see if?
Girl, go adjust your wig.

Nicki Minaj has built her whole album and theme around empowering women and as soon as a woman tweets her opinion she DM’s her and calls her ugly and broke. CTE.
