Tiffany Haddish will star in hour-long stand-up special for Netflix

As if the long list of movies and television projects Tiffany Haddish has lined up isn’t enough, she’s adding another big item to her ever-growing to do list.
Netflix has announced the actress will star in her own hour-long, stand-up comedy special for the streaming service and we can’t wait for the laughs that are undoubtedly in store.
Haddish will tape the special in early 2019 and it will premiere globally later in the year.

In case you’re unaware of just how booked Tiffany Haddish is, here’s a rundown of what she has coming our way.
Aside from her role alongside Tracy Morgan on The Last O.G., she’s gearing up for the September release of Night School co-starring Kevin Hart. She also has starring roles in several films including The Oath and Nobody’s Fool and is set to voice the main character in the upcoming Netflix adult animated series Tuca & Bertie.
“Tiffany Haddish is a force,” said Lisa Nishimura, VP of Original Documentary and Comedy in a statement. “Hilariously funny, brash and self-effacing, she’s an incredible artist who is winning over audiences while breaking barriers, and we are tremendously proud that she will showcase her formidable talent on Netflix.”

The new gig is just another step toward Haddish’s master plan to earn enough coins to support her family.
“I’m just glad I got some money now, because now I can do a better job at taking care of them… I got my mom out of the mental institution, like I said I would, in December, and I got her an apartment with my sister and a nurse that comes to her,” she told Glamour. “I ain’t never said this out loud, but I want to be able to give every one of my siblings a million dollars to create whatever they want to do. That’s four million dollars that I don’t need.”
