A disturbing video has surfaced showing preschool children allegedly being made to fight each other in a violent ‘Fight Club’ style brawl organized by their teachers.

The clip was filmed in December 2016 through a classroom window on an iPad by the 10-year-old brother of one of the victims but was just recently made public. In it, you can see the child crying after reportedly enduring three fights.

According to Q13 Fox, a lead teacher at the Adventure Learning Center in St. Louis came up with the gruesome idea to entertain the children.

In addition to the iPad clip, on-site cameras also captured at least 30 minutes of fighting. The footage also shows one teacher excitedly jumping up and down while another educator puts padded “Hulk fist” gloves on a child. As the preschoolers pummel one another, a single student steps up and tries to break up the fight, but without the assistance of an adult, the attempt is made in vain.

Both teachers were fired, but not prosecuted by the school. State regulators have stepped in after it was uncovered that Adventure Learning Center has had 26 violations and complaints of abuse since December 2016.

One parent, Nicole Merseal, came forward and told FOX affiliate KTVI that her son is still dealing with the post traumatic effects of being initiated into the kiddie fight club.

“He [her child in the video] doesn’t understand why his friends were fighting him—why he was beaten up by his best friends.”

Merseal said after her older son texted her the footage she passed it on to the school director, but not enough has been done since.

“I want them to be held accountable, and I don’t want this to happen to any other child,” she said.

One moment in the video that bothers her the most is how her child was treated while he wept.

“In the video, he’s wiping his face over and over again,” she said. “The day care worker—you see her walk over to him and tell him ‘you’re fine’ and pat him on the back and then walk and start another fight with other kids.”

She also added that the day that the beating took place was unfortunately also her son’s fourth birthday.
