Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly devastated after learning that his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter and mom to three of his children, died after a battle with flu-like symptoms, said to be pneumonia.

Combs and Porter were still good friends, according to reports and not only shared children together but a deep bond.
“Diddy is devastated and shocked,” the source told PEOPLE, “he and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work.”
TMZ reported: “Diddy never stopped interacting with Kim, despite breaking up way back in 2007. Their connection went beyond the fact they were co-parenting three kids… they genuinely had love and affection for each other.
“They celebrated holidays as a family, vacationed together and just hung out … and there was never an extended period where they were at odds with each other.
“They never had a formal custody agreement. They accommodated each other’s schedules when it came to the kids — and it always worked.”
Porter was 47.
The former model and actress shared three children with Combs; twins Jessie James, D’Lila, and Christian. She also shared one son, (Quincy Taylor Brown) with Al B. Sure. Quincy is a star of FOX’s hit show, STAR.

As word of Porter’s shocking death circulated throughout social media, entertainers sent their condolences.
“This is heavy. heartbroken about this man. we lost a real one today, beautiful inside and out. so many will be affected by this, some won’t even know why…but the whole world was graced by the vibrance in your spirit,” Rihanna wrote.
“R.I.P to Kim Porter, I send my condolences to her friends and family,” wrote 50 Cent.
“She was loved and will be missed dearly. I know Puff is hit right now, he loved her for real, soul mate type s**t. Chin up puff, Positive vibes only.”
Dancer LaurieAnn Gibson, who was Porter’s close friend and choreographer for years for Diddy wrote:
“I miss you why did u leave I love you.” Along with a video of Porter laughing and having fun.
According to reports, Porter called her doctor just a day before to report that she still was not feeling well.
