Diddy shares Kim Porter memorial photos as family and friends plan funeral arrangements

 

Kim Porter’s family and friends are preparing to make final arrangements for her funeral which may include a burial in Columbus Georgia alongside her late mother.

The death of the model and actress and ex- to Sean “Diddy” Combs, sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood and social media last week. Her closest friends like Kimora Lee Simmons, ex-wife of media mogul Russell Simmonsis said to be leading some of the funeral details. Simmons was seen at Porter’s home, sobbing when the coroners arrived to remove Porter’s body, The Daily News reports.

An autopsy hasn’t been revealed but Porter was reportedly suffering from pneumonia and was prescribed antibiotics by a doctor before her untimely death.

Porter’s casket has been selected and her father reportedly wants Porter to be buried by her mother Sarah in Columbus where Kim was born 47 years ago.

Over the weekend, Diddy spoke out for the first time about her death on Sunday, posting a touching Instagram Story.

“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare,” the grieving hip hop mogul wrote on Instagram on Nov. 18th, as he shared a video of them together from an Essence magazine cover shoot accompanied by SWV’s “When U Cry.”

“But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S–T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love”

He also shared a video of beautiful portraits for a memorial tribute.

Porter shares three children with the music mogul.

Porter’s son Quincy, who she shared with singer Al B. Sure, also posted for the first time.

“I am broken…& the only thing that makes sense right now is that you were way too good for this silly world we live in,” Quincy captured under a pic of him and his mother. “I love you so much MOMMY. Please give Mee-Maw the biggest hug and kiss for me.”
