50 Cent clowns Omari Hardwick after awkward Beyonce kiss at NAACP Image Awards
While the rapper had jokes for his 'Power' co-star, fans of the Queen Bee were none too pleased about Hardwick's gesture.
The awkward kiss Omari Hardwick gave to to Beyonce at the NAACP Image Awards was seen around the world and it made most people cringe when he leaned in not once, but twice to give the Queen Bee some sugar.
Of course 50 Cent wasted no time doing what he does best and clowned his Power co-star for planting the unwarranted kisses, but that was nothing compared to the Beyhive buzzing in disapproval of Hardwick’s gesture.

Needless to say, the look on Beyonce’s face told the whole story of the cringeworthy moment. No telling what was on Hardwick’s mind but Twitter lashed out and let him know that his actions pretty much put Bey in her own #MeToo moment.

“This is why the #metoo movement is important,” one Instagram user wrote. “No matter how famous and powerful a woman is, there will always be some … inappropriate man who feels like he has the right to take your manner and generosity as an invitation to make you uncomfortable. You disrespected your wife, your children, Beyoncé and Jay Z and need to apologize.”

There were quite a few memorable moments that stuck out at the NAACP other than Hardwick’s kiss.

The NAACP Image Awards was jam-packed with powerful moments from Hollywood’s brightest stars and political players and JAY-Z and Beyonce who served up a few when they each nabbed a few of the night’s top honors.
Jay-Z was this year’s recipient of the coveted President’s Award, presented by NAACP President Derrick Johnson. The President’s Award is presented in recognition of a special achievement and distinguished public service. Past recipients include Jesse Jackson, Lauryn Hill, Soledad O’Brien, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and Muhammad Ali among others.
When Hov took the stage, Beyonce was all smiles as she applauded him from the crowd before he delivered an inspirational acceptance speech and dedicated the award to his 93-year-old grandmother, Hattie White and quoted Abraham Lincoln.
“It’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years,” he said before describing his grandmother. “Hattie White, amongst other accomplishments and being super great and very tough, raised seven kids in one little walk up in Brooklyn.”
He also took time to send love to some other special women in his life, including his wife as she smiled from the crowd in a gorgeous white suit.
