Jean Mott is outraged her son was humiliated in front of his peers by the unprofessional teachers at Shiloh Middle School in Snellville. Her son reportedly came home crying about the devastating ordeal.

Mott told WSB-TV that her son was out of school for a few days and when he returned the two teachers teased that he had a “boyfriend” in front of the whole class.

“The teacher said to my son, ‘Your boyfriend was cheating on you while you were away,’ ” Mott recalled.  “‘Oh, you two make a really good couple.’”

Mott also claimed that one of the teachers claimed that her son chased other boys around the school, she told the station. According to NBC News, Mott confronted the two teachers who admitted they made the insensitive comments.

“At the end of the day, I’m concerned about the kids,” Mott said. “Not just my son, but anyone else’s child who may encounter a similar situation.”

According to Bernard Watson, a spokesman for Gwinnett County Public Schools, “disciplinary action was taken against both teachers,” but they were not suspended.

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission will also investigate the matter to determine if the teachers certificates should be revoked.

Mott wants the teachers fired.

“Teachers are supposed to be the first line of defense against bullying,” Mott told NBC. “And instead, the teachers initiated the bullying against my son and the other young man.”
