Games of Thrones soundtrack featuring top hip-hop artists is on its way
The final season of Game of Thrones is set to return on April 14 and soundtrack is set to be released on April 26.

The final season of Game of Thrones is upon us and is set to return on April 14. And as ‘Winter is Coming,’ so is some good music from the upcoming soundtrack produced as a collaboration between HBO and Columbia Records.
The album compilation was announced on Tuesday, and fans can now pre-order the For The Throne (Music Inspired by the HBO Series Game of Thrones) album ahead of its April 26th release, two weeks after the final season of GoT.
It will feature artists ranging from SZA, Travis Scott, Maren Morris, Chloe x Halle, Mumford & Sons, The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky.
According to Complex, there are 11 different vinyl configurations (nine covers representing each house crest, one color symbolizing fire, one ice-colored vinyl, and one standard. While the song titles have yet to be released fans are able to pre-order at digital retailers.
This isn’t the first time the series has enlisted popular musical talent. In 2014, Big Boi, Common, and others contributed to the first volume of the Catch the Throne mixtape. The second volume of Catch the Throne included Talib Kweli, Mastodon, Snoop Dogg, and Mastodon, reports Pitchfork.
Even if you are not a fan of the HBO series surely one of these artists might tickle your fancy. The following artist will be featured on the forthcoming For The Throne album.
