Cuba Gooding Jr. is already facing a half dozen counts of misdemeanor sexual abuse and forcible touching, and according to court papers, seven other women have come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct.
According to the Daily Beast, even though the Oscar-winning actor’s legal woes only involve three accusers, prosecutors are seeking to introduce the other claims in court with the hopes of illustrating a pattern of sexually abusive behavior.

In the court documents, one of the alleged victims claims that in 2009 Gooding groped and forcibly kissed her at the Sundance Film Festival. She goes on to detail how he tore her tights, placed his fingers on her rectum, and only halted his attack after she bit him on the cheek and made her escape.
The papers also allege that in 2016 he informed a woman and her friend at Cafe Havana in Malibu, California, “You guys are peeing on me tonight.” Then in December 2018, at the very same venue, he reportedly told the same woman: “You’re going to sit on my face, pee in my mouth, and pee all over me.”

“Defendant’s past behavior shows that he routinely approaches women while at bars or nightclubs with whom he has had limited or no prior interaction, and touches them inappropriately,” the prosecutors say in the papers.
“Unfortunately, people come out of the woodwork, making false allegations against Cuba, as often times happens when a celebrity is accused by the District Attorney’s Office in a public forum,” Gooding’s lawyer, Mark Heller, said in a statement Monday.
“The spurious, uncharged allegations offered by the District Attorney’s Office are so ancient and outdated and lacking in details and impairs the defendant from defending against them,” he continues. “Thus, it demonstrates that the District Attorney’s Office’s motive in introducing these inflammatory, uncharged allegations is not for any probative value, but to merely gain an advantage against the defendant and prejudice the jury against the defendant.”
While Gooding’s legal counsel denies the claims, Page Six reports that these new accounts bring the headcount up to 22 women who have made allegations against the actor. Some of the accusations date back to 2003.
