The model and “All of Me” singer announced their baby news at the end of Legend’s video for the song, “Wild” featuring Gary Clark Jr. on Thursday. She debuted her baby bump in the clip in the last few seconds. Miles and Luna, the couple’s two children, were also included in the visual.
Teigen, 34, seemingly confirmed the pregnancy in a tweet after the video premiered. She responded with a heart-shaped emoji after Vevo posted “Be sure to watch it now for a beautiful surprise! ❤️”
“Wild,” the latest single from Legend’s new album Bigger Love is dedicated to his wife. It’s a full-circle moment for the pair who met on the set of his music video “Stereo” in 2006. Nabil Elderkin directed “Wild” and first introduced the pair.
After being declared the World’s Sexiest Man Alive last year, Legend, 41, told People he knew right away that Teigen was the one for him.
“She’s the one. It’s clear!” he said in the November 2019 cover story. “We have great chemistry. She makes me laugh all the time. She’s a wonderful mother. She’s my best friend [and] ..she inspires some good love songs.”
Legend noted that it was her bold personality in contrast to his more laid-back demeanor that sealed the deal.
“People see our banter a lot, and we have a lot of fun together. I like the fact that she makes me laugh all the time,” he said. “The thing that makes me say ‘Aw’ is when she unironically compliments me because she doesn’t do it a lot. I wouldn’t love it if she did it all the time!”
The couple married in 2013, welcoming two children, Luna, 4, and son Miles, 2. Legend says that becoming parents made them even stronger.
“[Parenthood] deepens your love for your partner because you see them in a different light going through, in our case, the trouble of actually having a kid,” he said.

“Then Chrissy’s going through postpartum depression. You just see different sides of that person, and if you go through it and you learn from it and you come out the other end better for it, then it deepens and strengthens your relationship.”
