Martin Lawrence and Snoop set to star in political drama series ‘Game’

The dup co-wrote the series produced by Jerry Bruckheimer

Martin Lawrence and Snoop Dogg are ready to show the world a different side of their skills. The duo is set to star in the upcoming drama Game. 

The series is described as a political drama set in Washington D.C. According to Deadline, Snoop and Lawrence teamed up to co-write the story for the series that will be produced by CBS TV and Jerry Bruckheimer TV.

According to DeadlineGame revolves around lifelong best friends Bobby and Dice, played by Lawrence and Snoop Dogg, who are running a high stakes game of personal favors and political intrigue in Washington D.C.

This isn’t the first time Snoop Dogg and Martin Lawrence have teamed up onscreen. The pair recently co-starred in the comedy Beach Bum. 

Snoop has shown off several skills throughout his long career as a rapper, actor, entrepreneur, but we haven’t seen him take on too many drama roles.

Martin Lawrence has had huge success on the small screen with his beloved FOX series, Martin, from 1992-1997 and he has had box office success with films like Bad Boys, but this may be the first time we have seen him tackle the drama genre. 

Fans have been holding out hope that he would one day reunite with his former Martin costars to resurrect the series. Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold have both spoken publicly about their thoughts on a reunion, but no plans for a reunion have been announced.
