During a new interview with People, the actress shared her thoughts on a possible third installment of the movie series which co-stars Tia Mowry Hardrict. Tamera welcomed rising sister stars Chloe and Halle Bailey to join the cast to complete the trilogy. Although there are no existing production plans, the 42-year-old said she would love the opportunity.
“I love those girls. I think that would be sick,” she said to People. “All we need is Disney to be down,” she adds. “It could be a fun Disney+ kind of movie. I think that would be dope.”
She also shared her sister would more than likely be open to a third film as well, as long as the concept and timing make sense.
“I mean, it’s not that my sister and I don’t want to do it,” she said to the entertainment news platform. “I think creatively it has to make sense.”
The former The Real co-host continued, “It’s insane and it’s a blessing, especially in Hollywood, to be able to work as long as we have. I think it’s just finding the time and then making sure creatively that it’s okay.”

As musicians, the duo is referred to by the stage name Chloe x Halle. As actresses, the two young adults lead individually on-screen with recurring roles on Grown-ish and more. As theGrio reported, Halle will make history starring as Princess Ariel in the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.
“After an extensive search, it was abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance — plus a glorious singing voice — all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role,” said director Rob Marshall in a statement, according to the report.
