Netflix reveals celeb guests, photos for ‘Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine’

Netflix just dropped some first-look photos for the highly anticipated special from comedian Sarah Cooper.

The internet sensation, who has helped so many laugh their way through the craziness thanks to her incredible impersonations of Donald Trump, has landed her own variety special on the streamer that will feature a long list of celebrity guests. Sarah Cooper: Everything Is Fine can’t come soon enough and the good news is it drops next week.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine is a variety special full of vignettes dealing with issues of politics, race, gender, class, and other light subjects. Sarah is joined by a fantastic array of special guests who participate in short interviews, sketches and more shenanigans.

Some of the famous faces you can expect to see getting in on the jokes are Whoopi Goldberg, Maya Rudolph, Winona Ryder, Ben Stiller, Aubrey Plaza, Connie Chung, Danielle Brooks, Eddie Pepitone, Helen Mirren, Jane Lynch, Jonathan Van Ness, Jordan Black, Marcella Arguello, Tommy Davidson, Megan Thee Stallion, Jon Hamm, Marisa Tomei, and Fred Armisen.

The special is directed by Natasha Lyonne with Maya Rudolph, Danielle Renfrew Behrens and Lyonne executive producing through their production company Animal Pictures in addition to Cooper and Paula Pell. Chris Burns of AGI Entertainment and Dan Powell and Alex Bach of Irony Point serve as executive producers.

In April 2020, Cooper went viral with her brilliant satirical lip-sync impressions of our current president. Her How to Medical video, released on Twitter, has been viewed more than 20 million times. In the video, she lip-syncs to Trump talking about the idea of using sunlight and disinfectant to cure coronavirus.

The 42-year-old comedian and writer is a native of Jamaica who currently resides in New York City.

Before her online success, she was a writer and correspondent on the CBS All Access pilot Old News, produced by Stephen Colbert. Cooper also wrote the best-selling books 100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings and How to be Successful Without Hurting Men’s Feelings.

Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine will premiere globally Oct. 27 on Netflix.
