Chelsea Handler offers to pay ex-boyfriend 50 Cent’s taxes if he drops Trump support

The comedian says she can contribute to the hip-hop icon's bill if he changes his political affiliations

Chelsea Handler used to consider 50 Cent her “favorite ex-boyfriend” but after the rapper spoke up this week about his possible support of Donald Trump, she’s now willing to pay him to change his tune.

Earlier this week, 50 Cent — born Curtis Jackson — took to Instagram to urge fans to “vote for Trump” because he believed former Vice President Joe Biden’s tax plan to be too much of a liability to his pockets.

“WHAT THE F—! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT,” he wrote in the caption which accompanied an image from a news broadcast stating that high-earning New Yorkers might be taxed at a rate of 62%. “F— NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f—ing mind.”

The next day, he doubled down on his disdain of the proposal, writing on Twitter, “Yeah, i don’t want to be 20cent. 62% is a very, very, bad idea. i don’t like it !”

“You used to be my favorite ex-boyfriend,” Handler wrote in response to the tweet.

“Oh my God this is effecting [sic.] my love life now,” 50 responded. “@chelseahandler I love ya Gator, don’t let Trump and Joe Biden come between us girl.”

In response, the 45-year-old comedian offered to pay the rapper’s taxes should he reconsider his support for the president. “Hey f–ker! I will pay your taxes in exchange for you coming to your senses,” she wrote on Wednesday. “Happily! Black lives matter. That’s you, f–ker! Remember?”
