Sabrina Parr ends engagement to Lamar Odom: ‘I’m asking that you pray’

It looks like Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr have ended their engagement. 

The former NBA star and the personal trainer/ life coach got engaged last November after just three months of dating, but their courtship has come to an end.

“Y’all know I’m honest and transparent so I have to be the first to let you guys know that I am no longer engaged to Lamar,” Parr posted on Instagram on Wednesday.

“This has been a difficult decision for me to make but it is the best for myself and my children.”

Based on Parr’s posts, it sounds like she’s suggesting Odom still has some issues to contend with, and we’re hoping he’s still healthy considering his troubled past.

Me and @lamarodom go at it all the time on the court! I don’t care who he think he is or was I will always think I can beat him lol. I’m extremely competitive, athletic, loud and full of energy. Always have been and always will be. When we first met, all we did was hoop and it’s actually how we connected! . . Just to be clear, I’ve beating him a few times before but not today lol. He beat me 4x straight (I couldn’t buy a bucket to save my life tho). Last game we was tied 8-8 going to 10. I was devastates when I lost ??…. . . It’s all fun and love though! This keeps him young, in shape and happy. We was playing for hours but I biased’ly (yes I made that word up) edited the videos so you can see some of our highlights. I will continue to be upset about losing to him until I beat him two times in a row!!!! Odom has struggled with addiction for years and has previously admitted to being a sex addict. He nearly died from a drug overdose while still married to Khloe Kardashian in 201,5 and has made a miraculous recovery in the years since. 

“Lamar has some things that he alone needs to work through,” she posted. “I love him dearly but I am no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs.”

So far, it seems like the life coach is trying to keep things civil between them, but she sounds worried. 

“I wish him all the best and I am asking that you pray for everyone involved.”

Let’s hope that Odom is able to maintain his sobriety and his health.
