In a tribute to hip hop, the Super Bowl halftime show Sunday night was a major event that brought everyone together on social media. While Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg generated positive responses to their performances, 50 Cent‘s surprise rendition of “In Da Club” left the biggest mark, sparking countless memes across the internet.

In a reference to the 2003 music video for the song, a #1 Billboard hit, 50 Cent appeared upside down in his surprise entrance on Sunday night as the crowd cheered. While the rapper received plenty of praise, he also got the official meme treatment with many taking the shot of him upside down and running with it.
