Congratulations are in order for Garcelle Beauvais. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and host of The Real has officially signed a first-look deal with NBCUniversal, per Deadline.
The exciting deal is through her production company, Garcelle Beauvais Productions and NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Entertainment, and will see her produce “projects for the company across its platforms.”
Beauvais is already a part of the NBCUniversal family as a Real Housewife. She was the first Black Real Housewife in the Beverly Hills iteration of the franchise, as theGrio previously reported. Beauvais also joined The Real last year, alongside Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton, and Jeannie Mai.
Beauvais shared an official statement obtained by Deadline, which reads, “I am incredibly excited about working with the team at NBCUniversal Television in this new capacity. My production company team and I feel we have not only found a wonderful place to originate new ideas and collaborate on meaningful content, but also to expand into many wonderful horizons.”
The reality TV star and actress celebrated the major accomplishment on social media as well.
She wrote in an Instagram post, “I’m so excited and honored for this next chapter with @nbcuniversal ??? Thank you for breaking the news, @deadline. Cheers to much more to come ?.” Many of Beauvais’ celebrity friends, including fellow housewives, took to the comments to celebrate with her.
Eboni K. Williams of The Real Housewives of New York wrote, “Fantastic!! Congratulations Beautiful ??????.” Candiace Dillard Bassett of The Real Housewives of Potomac shared some hearts in the comments, and Crystal Kung Minkoff, who joined Beverly Hills as their first Asian Housewife last year, wrote, “Yassssssss❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
