A radio station in Greeley, Colorado has recently come under fire for airing offensive remarks about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Brett Reese, the station’s owner, made the recording from a listener’s letter and is set on airing it twice a day until the holiday commemorating the civil rights leader arrives.

The recording describes Martin Luther King, Jr. as a “sexual degenerate and communist betrayer of his own people”.

Reese believes that he is being unfairly criticized because he is on his town’s school board.
