The store is located just a block away from the city’s famous boardwalk and police say the robber used a fake gun. The worker, 44-year-old Zoshim Uddin, was repeatedly punched and pistol-whipped.

The robber left the gun (which turned out to be fake) after forcing Uddin to open the cash register. $200 was taken.
