It seems like everyone these days is jumping on the music competition show bandwagon. First, J-Lo announced her dream, to produce a talent show focusing on Latin American music.

Now, Snoop Dogg wants in.

While promoting his new album “Doggumentary,” Snoop said that shows like “American Idol” and “The X-Factor” are all well and good, but thinks there’s room to expand to try and find the next hip-hop artist, “straight directed to the hood.”

‘I want to find that raw untamed talent that hasn’t been dressed up all nice for the TV,” Snoop said, adding. “If any television companies are interested, “they know where I am.”

The Daily Mail reports that Snoop has his eye on more than just a television show. He told reporters that he also wants to open his own line of supermarkets. “But I’m going to call them Snoopermarkets,” the rapper said.
