Teen arrested in robbery of man in wheelchair

Miami Police say they’ve arrested a heartless teen thief who robbed a man in a wheelchair after the two got off a county bus.

The 16-year-old boy was arrested on charges of grand theft and strong arm robbery, Miami Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said Thursday.

Police say the victim befriended the suspect as they rode a Miami-Dade bus on July 22 when the man in the wheelchair let the teen use his cell phone.
